# Firefox Browser Extension Guide

A step-by-step guide to installing and configuring the Fetchify Firefox add-on.

# Preparation

# Sign Up

First, you need to sign up for a Fetchify account.

When you sign up, you will receive an access token by email. There is no obligation to buy anything and you automatically get 100 trial lookups. If you need more lookups to test the integration, please get in touch (support@fetchify.com) and we will try to accommodate you.

# Installation

# Step 1

Go to Fetchify Address Lookup in the Firefox add-ons website.

# Step 2

Click the button that says "Add to Firefox".

# Step 3

Click "Add" when prompted.

# Configuration

# Step 1

In Firefox, open the menu, then click on "Add-ons".

# Step 2

In the Firefox Add-ons Manager, click "Extensions".

# Step 3

Find "Fetchify Address Lookup", click "...", and click "Preferences".

# Step 4

Select the "Configuration" page from the menu on the left. Here you can enter your access token, then click "Save".

# Step 5

Select "All Integrations" and choose the platform you are using. You will then be able to enable or disable the module. You can also choose the integration type – either Address Auto-Complete or UK Postcode Lookup.

Please note that Address Auto-Complete is currently only available for Shopify. Postcode Lookup is available for all platforms.

Click on "Save" to save your changes.

# Step 6

Once enabled, the settings for this platform are easily accessible from the menu.

# Test

Before you go live, test the integration to make sure it is working properly.

For the Postcode Lookup integration only, we have the following free postcodes for testing: AA1 1AA, AA1 1AB, AA1 1AD and AA1 1AE.

# Go Live

Once your lookups run out, you will need to decide on the best purchasing option based on the volume of usage you expect. If you would like us to advise you then please get in touch.

  • Do you offer support? Yes, we do offer support during normal business hours in the UK. If you run into any issues, let us know and we will be happy to help.
  • Do I need to sign up for an account to try it? Yes, you’ll need a account, at least. You can easily sign up for a free account.
